Born in London in the early seventies - from an early age he showed a strong interest in painting. As a young teenager he began to create loose watercolour paintings. On leaving school he became a full-time artist. He loves painting cityscapes particularly London, New York, Venice and Paris. He also loves to paint landscapes and architecture from anywhere in the world. Elian specialises in free flowing “loose” paintings combining watercolours with ink detailing. He focusses on the feel of the subject rather than technical perfection. Elian has a growing number of collectors across the UK and further afield.
